Search in WeoGeo is focused on the current map location. We first show results matching your query within the area you are viewing. If no likely candidates are found, we will then find other places in the world that will satisfy your inquiry.
Looking to find a type of data at a particular location? First search for the location to position the map and then search for the type.
Example: Aerial imagery in Portland can be found by first searching for Portland and then searching for aerial imagery.
WeoGeo Market is a public, online resource for finding, buying, and selling customizable location-based data.
How Do I Find Data?
To find data, first locate your area of interest on the map by typing a place name into the location search bar located in the Search & Results panel. The Search & Results panel will now display datasets located within your area of interest. You can further refine your search by using the text search box, also located within the Search & Results panel. Click on a dataset in the Search & Results panel to learn more or order the dataset.
