CIESIN Indicators of Coastal Water Quality |
The Indicators of Coastal Water Quality listing is comprised of ten customizable raster files for the years 1998-2007. The goal of the research was to measure chlorophyll concentrations and use those values as an indicator of algae biomass which would allow for the assesment of coastal water quality.
The map tiles above display annual chlorophyll-a concentrations (nanograms/cubic meter) for the year of 2007.

**The rasters delivered with this listing are for the raw data files only. A color ramp has be added to the data for cartographic purposes and will not be delivered with a job request.**
