The Asadabad, Afghanistan vector data consists of a set of 13 detailed layers. This GIS data is trilingual, with features in English, Pashto, and Dari (Afghan Persian).

Every feature is created from real imagery and is field-verified by local teams, including collected feature names and descriptions for everything from roadways to natural landscapes.

Blocks- Consists of over 100 city block polygons.

Buildings- Over 10,000 building footprints with type and subtype listed in English, Pashto, and Dari.

Red shows 'Multiple Building Complex' while the dark gray shows 'Single Building(s)' in the map above.'

Infrastructure- Point, polygon, and line infrastructure layers. Some examples of features include; reservoirs, transportation features, power stations, power lines, bridges, culverts, and wells.

The dark gray shows 'Airports,' 'Heliports,' 'Airfields,' and 'Air Stations.'

Landmarks- Line and polygon landmark layers, including the name of the landmark in Pashto, English, and Dari.

The light purple indicates 'Landmark' areas.

Land Use- Urban, Rural, Unimproved, and Water land use types, as well as further specified subtypes including, but not limited to; barren land, bog, river bed, crop land, industrial, and commercial.

The blue indicates 'Water,' the tan indicates 'Barren Land,' the yellow shows 'Crop Land,' the green represents 'Green Area(s),' and the off-white shows 'Urban' land use.

Roads- Around 700 road lines. Given name, alternative names, and standard names are all listed in Dari, Pashto, and English (when available)

The slate gray represents 'Major' roads, the dark tan represents 'Minor' roads, the light gray represents 'Tertiary' roads, and the tan represents 'Footpaths/Trails.'

Urban Area- General outline of the Asadabad urban area.

The light gray represents the urban area boundary.

Water Features- Line and polygon water features ranging from rivers to to drainage ponds.
